Now, when the winter time rolls around I’m always looking for new things to add to my skincare routine.
Why?
Well, I have such sensitive skin and it gets to the point where it peels and just doesn’t look cute when I put on make-up. Luckily, I’ve found things that would help out and make the patches go away.
Insert praise hands emoji.
Unfortunately, I’ve never invested in an eye cream. Big no, no. Especially as I’m getting up there with age — okay, I’m only 25 but still invest in your skin now so you can look young at 60, right?! That’s what I have always heard so that is what I’m doing.
I’m always on the search for a new product especially one that is going to benefit my skin and not going to break me out or send me into a reaction.
This post is sponsored by VIIcode Skin Care. All reviews and opinions are 100% mine, I would not review a product unless I was a fan and have used it.
That’s why I have partnered with VIIcode Skincare to talk about their T2 Oxygen Eye Cream.
Yes, I received this as a gift but my review is completely honest and all about how I feel and think about it. I used this product for four weeks before putting together my review because I felt like using the product once was not going to help me decide if I like it or not.
I was excited to try this product out because I’m all about my skin care. I’m at that age where I care about how I look especially working in the corporate world — I need to look my best to present myself as a boss.
When I first received the T2 Oxygen Eye Cream, I thought the packaging was cute. I mean, I’ve seen a lot of eye creams and they look a bit basic, at times.
This one came in the blue container with more than enough to last me for awhile and it included the activation strip which you use to massage under the eye area. Very helpful because I would have just slabbed the eye cream on without massaging which helps let the product moisturize that area. You can see it pictured below in my hand — the benefit is that massaging under your eye can help relieve swelling under your eyes especially if you have dark circles. I don’t have a regular occurrence of dark circles but I do have late nights that leave me with puffy under eyes and that’s just not a look that I am going for.
I think an important thing to point out if that the cream doesn’t have a strong scent but it smells good. I know that’s a deciding factor for many people. Not only that but it goes on your skin easily and it doesn’t feel heavy. I’m not a fan of heavy products and this eye cream, I can vouch for. I have used creams on my face in the past and I don’t like a heavy product, it makes my face feel clogged. Another plus for VIIcode Skin Care because I don’t feel like my pores are clogged which is a major concern for me.
Some key ingredients are avocado, Elderberry, Chamomilla Recutita, and Evening Primrose. The fact thatChamomillaa Recutita is used is my favorite because it’s helpful in reducing dryness which like I shared above is what I want to avoid in the winter. I’m not trying to look like a reptile that is sheddinits’s skin because gross.
And, let me be real with you, I am hard to please.
When it comes to my skin products, I stick to what I know so I’m giving you the inside scoop on my feelings about VIIcode’s eye cream.
I love it. I wish I could put praise hand emojis all over to express how grateful I am to have found something that is beneficial for skin.
