Striped Jumpsuit

I shared this post on Instagram already but I am OBSESSED with jumpsuits and pants. There’s something about the material and only having to find one piece of clothing.

They’re comfy and flowy, somewhat freeing, in my opinion. You can’t go wrong with a onesie.

Let me tell you when I’m at work, I am trying to be as comfortable as possible. Why? Well, for one, I can’t sit still. I move around to the point where I’m sitting criss-cross applesauce or I have my arms wrapped around my legs. I can’t sit still and I need pants to work with all the motion.

Jumpsuits take out all the extra work that comes with getting dressed. I don’t have to plan for pants and a top. They make my life just a bit easier on a day that I know is going to be slow or a lazy day.

How’s sizing? For me, I usually go a size up when it comes to jumpsuits. I’m average height and smalls are short on me plus get a little tight on my thighs. I don’t like tight thighs, it’s the worst! I definitely would try on anything like this before committing to it. That’s my thing, I try on my jumpsuits and rompers to confirm if they fit or not. I can’t just buy them without stepping into a dressing room because everything is made differently.

With fall approaching, casual jumpsuits are a great transition piece. You can easily throw on a blazer or cardigan with this look. I pair mine with a denim coat or button-up shirt and it works well for my work environment.

I will say that Forever 21 has some really good deals on their jumpsuits (and everything, to be honest). I got this jumpsuit as a weekly deal for $14! That’s a good deal. If I’m not buying from Forever 21, I’m buying from Pitaya which has amazing quality for the clothes.

Next time you see a jumpsuit, take the chance. It’ll be worth it, trust me. And, you’ll look bomb.
