First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day!
It’s a special day to recognize mom and shower her with love. If you’re lucky like me, you live near mom. Even if you don’t live near mom, there’s FaceTime to send the love and talk to her. So don’t forget to reach out to mom and wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.
I’m very thankful for my parents, very thankful for my mom. She might have sent me to school with an afro every now and then, but she’s a beautiful mom. In fact, she’s my favorite mom. I don’t care if she’s my only mom, she’s my favorite.
Happy Mother’s Day, mom!
Thank you for taking my panicky phone calls when I don’t know if my passport is going to be accepted or not — which you told me it was going to be and turns out, it was accepted. In general, thanks for taking all my phone calls from crazy to normal to random.
Thanks for supporting all my dreams and things I talk about that I want to do. We’re some pretty lucky kids to have a mom that’ll help us but keep it real at the same times.
Thank you for all the years of taking me to the hair salon for color, relaxers, treatments, and blowouts. It’s very much appreciated. Of course, the fact that you talk up my curly hair is appreciated more because it’s a struggle to deal with. Thanks for driving hours to get a prom dress and driving in the snow to Kent to pick me up after finals. All of these things are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for putting up with the pre-adult drama. I know you didn’t care for it but you still put up with it. Thanks for digging through piles of clothes and helping me prepare for my first job.
My mom is my best friend and my mom — she is my mom first, of course. You’re appreciated for doing all the things that you have done for myself and my siblings.
I’m grateful for the opportunities and chances presented to me because of my parents. Every crazy idea or spur of the moment idea if supported. I’ve always had a great support system, a system of support and keeping it real at the end of the day.
There has been so much that has been done for me that I can’t put into words. I appreciate you, mom. You’re the best even though we don’t tell you that all the time. We’re very lucky to have you!!! Thanks for always motivating me and listening to me. Whether I succeed or fail, you’re always there with dad. I know I was a terror as a kid and sometimes I can still be a terror but I love you.
Thank you to Nana and Granpa for my mom!
Happy Mother’s Day, Nana — I can’t forget my nana. I’m so grateful for wonderful grandparents and I brag about my wonderful grandparents all the time. Nana, I love you and I can’t wait for another visit. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in my life. I love you all and I hope you’re showered with love today.
I’m high maintenance from time to time and I know it — very grateful for the love I’m showered with.
I love you, mom. Happy Mother’s Day!
