I want to put together an apartment tour when it’s all finished but here is progress in my room! Now, I’ve been trying to steer away from clutter and too much going on in my space. It’s smaller than my older room which means less stuff is in there. I like it thought. I have my bed, nightstand, dresser, and bookshelf in the room at the moment. It’s sorta whimsical to me right now and I love it. The comforter was part of an entire set for $75 at Target. It’s white with gold dots and pinched, I’m not sure how well you can see the pinching in the picture. My bed is a Full so it came with the two sheets, comforter, two shams, two white pillowcases, and a decorative pillow. I love it. It goes perfectly with my Ikea bed. My room has been hard to try and put together – I can’t really think of what I want it to look like. I bought the white nightstand from iKea for $7!! Such a steal. The light on top of it was $14 and it’s one of the prettiest accessories for my room.

The gold framed mirrors above my bed were $10 total from TJ Maxx. I love them although, I’m not sure that’s their permanent place. The white mirrors were $1.99 and my original concept involved those surrounding a canvas but I couldn’t find a canvas that I was in love with. My dresser is from Amazon along with the knobs – it took me weeks to find twelve knobs because they usually come in a pack of eight or ten. They’re chic and I love them. My gallery wall is full of printables and cheap frames from Wal-Mart. Those curtains are $7 on clearance on TJ Maxx. That’s what I have so far, I need a floor mirror to add to my room. I also need to figure out the placement of those framed mirrors. I’m not 100% in love with their placement. I’m invested in shelves as well, I want to hang those on my one bare wall. It’s tough trying to put all my ideas together but Pinterest has been very helpful. That’s my room so far and I love how relaxing it is.
