This year, I decided to base my gift guides off the gifts that I’m giving this year or have received.
Why? I feel that it’s more of a valid review. Like, I have experience with this item and I want to refer it to the whole world, ya know?
Every year I have done multiple gift guides and I didn’t think it made sense to do multiple posts for you to click all around for. I wanted to make it easy for you and me! Hopefully, this makes your shopping experience a little bit easier.
As a matter of fact, these gifts are amazing and some of my favorites (especially the tot toys!).
Gifts for Him
Whether it’s your father, brother, significant other, or (insert your own title), you’ll find something on this list that he’ll love. I love shopping for the guys in my life because I get to shop for things I wouldn’t usually shop for. Besides, when Chase asks for shoes but that’s about it. Nonetheless, I did some deep digging and asked them all what they wanted.
My favorite thing on this list is all the sweaters! My brother asked for sweaters and I can’t turn down shopping for clothes especially for him. Here are some of my sweater picks — AE Raglan Sleeve Crew Neck Sweater, Old Navy V-Neck Sweater for Men, and boohoo Long Sleeve Turtle Neck Jumper. Now, my boyfriend loves technology and things to make his life easier so obviously, Apple AirPod and Apple Watch Series 3 Gps + Cellular are a go-to for him.
Gifts for Her
Not going to lie — I went a little overboard for the ladies. Listen, I have my mom, two sisters, Chase’s mom, and little sister to shop for so I’m all about options. For the most part, my sisters and I are on the same page for gifts. We like the same things, most of the time.
One of my favorites on this list is Glossier The Skincare Edit • Glossier because I just shopped their sale and love the product. I have combination skin so I’m always looking for a product to help me prosper. If you couldn’t tell, my whole list is about comfort from the Opalhouse 16oz Stoneware Sorry I’m Late I Didn’t Want to Come Mug Pink to Taryn Rose Helen Faux-Fur Slippers to Abercrombie & Fitch knit sweater. It’s all about comfort to me. And, you can’t go wrong with a Bracha Initial Pendant Necklace. The lucky ladies in your life are going to love all of these choices.
Gifts for Tots
As a mom with a one-year-old, I welcome all the toys. Many people are against toys but not me. Not only do I have an active one-year-old, but he will get into everything if he’s not entertained and that is what the toys do. Some of my favorites are a few items that Cannon received for his birthday or just on a Target run.
I love the Vtech VTech Brilliant Baby Laptop • Vtech, Cannon loves to press all the buttons at once and I can hand him his mini laptop when I’m on mine. Another fun toy is Fisher Price Fisher-Price Laugh Learn Pull Play Learning Wagon • Fisher-Price, Cannon is always dragging his wagon around and trying to climb in it. And, I included necessities from Munchkin that I’ll be including in his stocking like the Munchkin Bath Letters and Numbers • Munchkin and Munchkin Miracle 360 2-Pack 7 oz. Trainer Cups in Green/Blue • Munchkin. So many choices, you can’t go wrong when it comes to the tots.
Gifts for Grandparents
If your child’s grandparents are a big part of their life, then they deserve a lot. I say this as someone who’s parents are actively involved in my son’s life. They help with pick-up duty, babysitting, and so much more which means I strive to buy the best things. Now, I try to stick to what is important and some of the things that I do buy my parents aren’t on this list like customized gifts, etc.
I don’t want to give away what I bought my dad and mom as my mom reads my blog. They received a few items from this list and I went beyond to think of things they might need or like in the future. I tend to be intentional with my gift-giving. One of my favorites, the Aura Digital Picture Frame as grandparents can upload however many photos they want to this gadget and it’ll play the photos. You can’t go wrong with a frame that will show off the grandkids.
Gifts for Your Pet
Now, you can’t forget your furry friend! Rocko is always included when it comes to Christmas gifts. I might not go overboard and buy him every bone that I see but he ends up with a stocking full of treats and toys. Pets are probably the easiest to shop for as you can buy their necessities and gift those items to them. Things like a new collar and leash are a great update for your pup! Throw in some bones and treats and they’ll think it’s the best day ever.
Almost everything will work with your budget! Don’t stretch yourself thin trying to spoil someone. It’s the thought that counts, plus your presence is a present!
There are a few splurge items but you can find dupes for these items on Amazon, etc. Make sure you have fun while shopping and that the gifts you chose will mean a great deal to your people.
I can’t wait until Christmas and for everyone to see what I bought them. It’s going to be great!
What are some gifts that you are buying this year?
I love the American Eagle fuzzy sherpa coat in lilac! And my Boston Terriers “need” those cute doggie sweaters.
These are such great ideas! You reminded me that I need to pick something up for our cats.
These are some great gift ideas, I love how you included what you have actually had experience with. We got my in-laws a digital photo frame last year, they absolutely love it!
I think I need everything on the puppy list. And I love the grinch mug and the sorry I’m late mug. I’d use both of those!
