I love fast fashion, I truly do. Probably because fast fashion is cheap and budget friendly. That’s really what I love about fast fashion — plus, I live my life on a budget and I’m barely an adult. I mean I am an adult but I graduated from college 2.5 years ago and I know some of you have seen my student loan chats so I’m not really balling out here.
The two places that get fast fashion right are H&M and Forever 21. They hop on the trends right away and get it out in masses with affordable pricing. I can tell you those jeans were around $12-$15 and when you can get jeans that cheap, why would you pass up on that? Obviously, for better quality but if you are in a dire need for jeans and multiple pairs, Forever 21 is going to be your best bet. They have great jean sales and that is how I was able to be blessed with this pair.
The thing about these jeans is that they have always been in style — skinny jeans with holes in the knee. That style isn’t dying out anytime soon and I say this as the person who bought these jeans back in 2015. I had to have a pair of jeans with holes in the knees but not the played out kind that we all wore in high school. This pair can scream dressy depending on how you style them. That’s why they will never go out of style because they can be played up for so many different looks.
This winter I am all about being comfy. I’m talking sweaters and sweatpants or leggings, for the most part. I have pulled out the jeans because they have yet to make sweatpants look chic enough for work. Although, velvet joggers are starting to appeal to me.
And, I was able to snag this sweater for $12 at an H&M sale. At first, it didn’t appeal to me but it has that classy look that I want to go for. Turtleneck and printed cuffs in a black and white color palette. It’s slouchy which I love and it’s comfortable. I can pair it with jeans like the picture above of leggings, either way, the sweater is long on me.
So yes, I love H&M and their fast fashion like Forever 21.
I won’t always recommend it but when you’re trying to create a wardrobe with limited funds, that will be my go-to.
You never know what you might find at these two stores either — a diamond in the rough or hidden gem are buried somewhere in their sale piles, waiting for you to discover them.
