If you’re into sweaters then this post is for you.
Sweater weather has hit! It has been below 30 degrees in Ohio the last few days and there have been snow and ice — winter weather has arrived.
My favorite thing about cold weather? Sweaters, obviously.
When it comes to the cold seasons, I live in sweaters — crewnecks, turtlenecks, cardigans, etc. Let’s be real, you can’t go wrong with a sweater.
How can you not love sweaters? They’re comfy and soft, you can wrap up in them and just be warm. That is why I am obsessed, as you should be, too. I LOVE LOVE LOVE sweaters, got it?
By nature, I am a bargain shopper so I am always looking for a good price on a sweater. Sweaters are my favorite article of clothing when I think about it. Especially when I find a long one or one that is baggy so I can pair it with leggings and be comfy all day, every day.
Anyways, this past weekend I took a trip to Chicago and the sweater sales really got me. Like, I’m talking $10-$15 for a sweater which is not bad when you think about how much they can go for. Obviously, I had to share so everyone else can join in on the fun.
H&M
Forever 21
Forever 21 has always been my go-to. I can’t deny that I can find something great after searching for thirty minutes or so. The prices are perfect for someone like me who is living budget-friendly and trying not to stretch myself thin when I have multiple bills. You can find something great after digging and searching if you are determined. The winter season is when I leave with the most from Forever 21. I can’t help myself when I see sweaters and cardigans — they make it very easy to put together an outfit.
Charlotte Russe
Last but not least, Charlotte Russe is a great place for sweaters. It doesn’t get as much credit as H&M and Forever 21, in my opinion, but you can find some great deals here. The holiday season is the best time for finding a deal here — actually, you can always find a deal here but this is the best time for sweaters. I’ve come away with so many cardigans and scoop neck sweaters that have lasted me for a few years. You can’t beat these prices.
Those are the top three places that I always find a deal on sweaters at. Not only do they have gorgeous pieces but the deals are always good. Who is going to pass up on a $10 sweater? Not me. I refuse to pass up on such a deal when I know I won’t be able to find it anywhere else.
Not going to lie — those stores can be overwhelmning but worth it at the end of the day.
Other than those three stores, thrifting is the next best answer. You can find real treasures when you are sifting through the rows and rows of sweaters. A sweater is a staple piece, my friend. Don’t miss out on the deals — you never know what you’re going to find at these stores because online is different than in-store.
If you’re looking for a bargain, these are the spots that you should check out.

I’m always on the lookout for comfy, cozy AND fashionable sweaters.
What a lovely selection! I love winter wear, but I live in the tropics and will have an overwhelmingly warm X-pas…. still awesome to watch the cooler wardrobe options though….
I absolutely love sweater weather! Sweaters are super comfy, and warm, and I like to wear them a little bigger so I have room to move. I’ll definitely have to check out these stores for sweaters. I don’t know why I haven’t before. I usually go to Charlotte Russe for dresses. Forever 21 has so many options, it kind of stresses me out. So I’m usually out of there before I find anything. But now that I have a specific goal in mind, I’m going in there with a mission to accomplish. And I haven’t really shopped at H&M. I’ll have to go check them out!
