Before you ask which way to go, remember where you’ve been

Before you ask which way to go, remember where you’ve been.

I saw this quote and it just spoke to me. As a person who wants to do so much in life, I realized that everything I want to do has to be put into perspective. I have to look at everything that’s shaped me to this point and apply it to my future. I can do whatever I please but I must put everything into a perspective and realize that outcomes. I want to help people and I want to travel, I just have this list of things that I want to do.

I got my first tattoo on Thursday and it was possibly my last because it hurt so much. It was really a spur of the moment type of thing. There’s a compass representing directions that I can go in and there’s so many directions. Then the bird that is flying of represents being able to fly and take on life in my own perspective. It’s my way of being released into the world. The anchor is my family, friends, and things I have experienced in life. It’s really something special to me and I love it.
