It’s the holiday season and we’re back at it with the gift guides! I love to give gifts, but it’s truly hard for me to shop for certain people. There are years when it’s easy to shop for my mom and boyfriend, and other years when it’s hard to shop for them. Don’t even get me started on my dad, he’s the hardest to shop for.
Nonetheless, I have had fun shopping this year and wanted to share my round-up of all the things that I am keen on buying my loved ones.
This is where I thrive. I’m all about the season of gifting and cute wrapping paper. All about the Christmas aesthetic. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
Enjoy my round-ups!
The Homebody

Now, I don’t know about many of you, but I am a homebody and these are the type of gifts that I would want. This gift guide is based entirely on me. Who doesn’t love the comfort of their home? I think that last two years of this pandemic have really pushed homebody-ness onto me and I love it. Give me all the house plants, weighted blankets, slippers, and relaxation tools. If there’s a homebody in your life, you can’t go wrong with these gifts.
Gifts for Toddlers

As the mother of a three-year-old, I am big on buying toys that have a purpose and might educate. It might sound boring but it’s totally not! I love to give toys that are going to keep the kids busy like legos and musical instruments. Not too many parents might be a fan of those gifts so enjoy cool name crayons or a telescope. Also, I saw these cute affirmation cards for kids on Etsy and what a perfect stocking stuffer!
Parent & In-Law Gift Ideas

I love shopping for my parents. They might have everything, but I always have fun getting them the latest in the world. I prefer to shop on Amazon for my parents because it’s so massive that I usually always find something on there. Many of the gifts above are pricey but well worth the price. Especially the robot vacuum — you can’t go wrong with one of those, trust me. Mine is my best friend.
Beauty Lover Gifts

As a person with two younger sisters, I like to think we bounce beauty and skincare off each other. My sister and I talk about hair a lot. My other sister and I talk about make-up. They’re the perfect candidate for beauty gifts. All these items are fab ideas! You can’t go wrong with the face steamer — my sister bought me one and I’m obsessed with it. Also, how chic are the make-up organizers? They’re cute and modern.
For Your Guy

First of all, men are expensive. They make it seem like women are expensive, but it’s really them. Or maybe it’s just my boyfriend? Anyways, the hot gift of the year is the PlayStation 5 and they’re hard to get. Add the Xbox Series X and you’re on a mission. That’s why I made sure to add in a Bose speaker, Oculus, and a massage gun. These are all gifts that I think your guy would love. Why would he not?
Ideas for Teachers

Let’s be real, teachers deserve a pay raise with all that they are doing during the pandemic (along with before). This is our first-year with a pre-school teacher as we’ve always done in-home daycare, so I’m excited to give his teachers gifts. Especially because I know they’re well-deserved. All the attention and teaching they give my son, I wish I could write a bonus check for them. Nonetheless, I shared all the ideas that I want to do for our teachers. How cute are the ornaments?! And the Starbucks gift card is a must, Ms. K is definitely getting that.
Now, I wish I had made some more gift guides as I keep seeing amazing ideas as I shop. Maybe next year if I have it in me?
Anyways, I hope this helped in a way for you as you finish up your shopping. Remember, it’s the thought that counts!
