As I’m typing this “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is stuck in my head. I’m clearly in a festive mood — even if those lyrics aren’t the best lyrics out there. I’m actually not a fan of the song but it’s like the deep voice is stuck in my head. But that’s beside the point, let’s talk about one of my favorite outfits to wear this fall. I work in Social Media and it’s an office job where I provide support to different brands. It’s cool and it’s an agency so we’re pretty chill. What do I wear to work? Business casual which means jeans are okay for now — we’re moving across the street from the corporate office soon which means more dressing up but for now, I’m rocking jeans.

Let’s be real, if you’re living in Ohio you know about this weather. I can wear a sweater one day and a short-sleeve shirt the next so when I bring out the sweaters, I’m hoping the cold weather stays. On this day, it was actually pretty normal 50’s-60’s and I dragged my sister, Kearsten, out to snap some pictures of me and to capture this look. I wanted to share this look with everyone because well, look at that sweater and those booties. They have been a staple and I’ve been asked about them on and off. I’ve already raved about sweaters but this one is definitely worn A LOT because of the lace on the bottom. It’s from Forever 21 which has been my spot for all the sweaters that I’m loading up on. Plus it’s big and will swallow me up so I can snuggle up in my bed with Rocko. The jeans are Fashion Nova and I will continue to brag about their comfort level. I’m wearing them right now — they stretch and they’re high-waist jeans plus everyone needs a staple dark blue denim in their closet. Now, those booties are Urban OG… you know this. I trust them with anything that has a heel on it .
