Cherry Blossoms #OOTD

Spring is upon us!

Of course, the sun isn’t shining in this photo but the sun is on its way. The midi skirts have been a thing I wanted to try for quite some time and I finally gave in. This skirt has a stretchy band and zipper so it fits pretty well. I liked it for the most part — I won’t lie when I first tried it on, I almost returned it but that was because I couldn’t style it right. It really was one of those ‘I have no clothes’ moments. The skirt is pretty long, it hits below my knees and it would be a great piece for work, church, events, etc. I don’t think there’s any place this skirt wouldn’t work. I definitely can’t wait until summer to dress it up with a flowy tank top.

The top I have on is something my sister gave me — she’ll say I stole it from her but she was giving it away. It’s printed and boxy so it took awhile to adjust in the skirt. I love this top, it’s the perfect addition to high waisted jeans and this skirt. The purse pictured is from TJ Maxx and I don’t think they have that style anymore. Definitely, a seasonal thing that is probably over and done with. I like it though, the inside is polka dots and I love polka dots.

Below I have linked to similar items to what I am wearing — UrbanOG doesn’t seem to have a spot on Shop Style Collective but that is where I get all of my heels.
